Major General Paul Simuli The Chief of Personnel [CP] of the Tanzania Peoples’ Defence Forces [TPDF] visited the centre and addressed all Officers and Men. In his statement among others he emphasized on the need to ensuring that all TPDF personnel deployed in various UN Peacekeeping Missions serves with professionalism, courtesy, dignity and high level of discipline.

Major General Simuli further underscored that the Tanzania Peacekeeping Training Centre must ensure that all peacekeepers are well trained in line with UN Training standards to enhance their performance in the mission.

Major General Simuli also reiterated that in compliance with the UN conduct and discipline, TPDF is committed to strengthening accountability and ending impunity and therefore severe disciplinary measures will be taken in case of any misconduct by the TPDF personnel.
