ABOUT TANZANIA PEACEKEEPING TRAINING CENTRE

The Tanzania Peacekeeping Training Centre (TPTC) is a Centre of Excellence that resides in quiet environment at Kunduchi – Dar es Salaam, with training area at Msata in Coastal Region in Tanzania. It’s aim is to bring truthful training to potential peacekeepers for the multidimensional challenges of contemporary peace support operations.

The TPTC was established in 2003 impelled by a response to a call from the United Nations which recognised the need for the establishment of regional and sub-regional Peacekeeping Training Centres in order to minimize or reduce the tension among the conflicting nations globally.
